Ray rented Lot 23, from Mr. Mount for 3 years with an option to purchase.
He later purchased the north part of Lot 23, from Robert Milne. He was
director of the Milk Marketing Board, a crop insurance inspector and was part
of the committee to select the dairy queen at the Canadian National
Exhibition in Toronto. Ray built a new home on Lot 23, across the road
from his parent's house.
