He appears in all censuses up to 1901. In 1891, he is a grocer. In 1901, he is a grocery manager. The family seems to have moved about quite a bit.

In the 1901 census, she was said to have been born in Shipston on Stour. He name was "Marie" in that census. She worked as a draper's assistant.

They had three girls and then Robert. Information re him and most of his family is severely lacking. I only know the details of the one daughter, Sandra Jane, as I found a picture of her labelled "Sandra Jane Wallace christening September 29, 1957."

According to the folio at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, he immigrated from England in 1911. His family joined him in 1913. He was a carpenter at the CPR Ogden shop. From his marriage certificate, I see that his father was a carpenter as well. The couple had 11 children born and 10 surviving.
