Helen Dunn believes that she died in the Clones workhouse on June 13 1892. Her reasoning is as follows:
In June 1892 Ann Jane, daughter of John & Ellen, would have been 45.
The death index gives age 43 but the records in Monaghan Registrar's Office gives 45.
It seems odd to me that she would die in a work house when she had siblings alive and well.

He is described as a bricklayer in the marriage certificate of his daughter Mary Anne. In the 1851 and 1861 censuses, he was also described as a bricklayer.

I have chosen John and Sarah as his parents based on the baptism to that effect found by Brian Piper in the parish register for Hawkhurst.

There is an Edwin Campany, widower, age 24, born in Hawkhurst, living with his father Frederick in Hawkhurst in the 1861 census. Did Frances Matilda die before then? In any event, Edwin had a new wife - Ruth - by 1871.

The "amending deed" of 1832 refers to a will made on November 10, 1744. Presumably therefore, he died after that and before 1761 when his son and heir Thomas leased and released some properties to one Robert Pardoe.

She is described by her mother as her eldest daughter in her will of July 16, 1705. As well, she was married to a Sturch, as her mother uses that last name to describe her. I have not seen an MI for her.

According to the death certificate, she died with no one in attendance after 5 weeks of a "disease of the stomach."
