She was said to be a widow in the marriage register. In her will, she names a great many people (mainy her sisters), but I only recognise Elizabeth Cowley, the sister of her late husband. She speaks of her late daughter and her late two sons and leaves money for the maintenance of their grave sites.

I have concluded that her husband died and she remarried to a William Davis in 1766 in Sutton under Brailes. They were shown as widower and widow in the parish register.
