I have found a will for a William Tymmes, yeoman, of Sutton under Brailes, made on January 4, 1652. It was proven on June 17, 1653, in front of "the judge for the probate of wills and granting administration appointments" by Joane Boxe. Presumably, William died between those dates. In his will, he names his daughter Joane Boxe as his sole executrix and residuary beneficiary, gives small bequests to two grandchildren: Richard and William. There is a marriage occurring on January 10, 1638/39 between Richard Box and Joane Tymes: this is according to Ancestry; I have not been able to find it. In any event, this would likely be the couple. There is a record on Ancestry of a Joane Box buried Nov 16, 1660 in Bitton, Gloucestershire.

I believe that I am have found him in London in the 1891 Census in St Stpehen's parish. He was single and an umeployed stone mason.

I have a "cute" photo relating to his birth. It is in the form of train bullertin announcing his birth on December 13, 1951.

One researcher suggests that Smith was married three times and that Sarah was the product of his first marriage to Samantha Lavina. That would make sense given when she was born.

In the draft for the American Civil War, he was shown as 27 years old and married. So he had to had a marriage before that to Diantha. His name on his son's death certificate is William Simpson Cole.

She immigrated from Ireland to NYC in 1907. After that, she worked in the hotel industry there. She was said to be a linen mistress at the Waldorf Astoria. i have found her in various US censuses from 1920 to 1940, where she is shown as working in a hotel. According to HelenDunn, she returned to Ireland when she retired in sometime after 1940 and died in Belfast in about 1960 and was over 90 at the time.

I know of their children from the Canada Voters' List in 1974. The children had to be at least 21 years old to vote, so born before 1953.

I know that he was a Crown Attorney in Calgary, He acted for the Crown in Regina v. Stinchcombe.
