In the 1930 census, she, her husband, and Barbara were living with her mother and father in Cincinnati. Since the child was born in California in 1930, then between 1940 and 1941 the family must have located at least briefly out there. As I know, Louise ended up living and ending her days out there. Both George and Harry were taxi chauffeurs in that census.

In the 1940 census, she, her husband, and the three children of the marriage were living at 1217 Gilsey Avenue in Cincinnati.

I came across his obituary on the . It reads:
Thomas (Tom) Connelly, beloved husband of Irene Connelly of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Tom was the eldest of five, born into a devout Scottish Catholic family of coal miners in Drumheller, AB in 1922. His future was shaped by a childhood during the Great Depression and the service of his country during the Second World War. One of Tom’s great passions was reading about the history of war and conflict, especially “the Irish troubles”. After the war, Tom graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and embarked upon a successful career that spanned thirty-nine years, but most importantly served to introduce him to his future wife Irene (nee Timms). Tom and Irene were married in 1952 and enjoyed fifty-six years together, mostly in Calgary, where they were founding members of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church and raised a family of four successful children who would eventually provide them with the nine grandchildren whose activities consumed Tom’s retirement years. Tom is survived by Irene, their children and grandchildren, Tim and Michele Connelly (Danielle and Peter), Cathy Connelly (Megan and Carson Ferguson), Dan and Marnie Connelly (Tom, Joe and Greg), Carolyn and Carl Chala (Paul and Marcus) and by his sister and brother-in-law Nan and Jules Saganski and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens

She and her husband William are to be found in the 1949 directory for Lakewood, Ohio at 1286 Giel Avenue. He works at Erie? Why I cannot find them in various censuses is beyond me.

He enlisted in the US Air Corps on December 8, 1941.

Edwin F. Thompson, 82, of Pocono Lake, Pa. and formerly of Bristol, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in Easton Hospital. Born: December 13, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pa., a son of the late Arthur H. and Elsie MacBride Thompson. Personal: His wife, the former Josephine Hunsworth, died in 1995. He was a salesman for Meenan Oil, in Levittown, Pa., retiring in 1985. Survivors: a son, Gary F. Thompson, of Pocono Lake, Pa.; a daughter, Judith Flamini, of Sicklerville, NJ; and grandchildren. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, in Trinity Cathedral, 801 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08618. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA 18045.
