Chocolate Chip Cookies
|Preheat the oven, Convection Only, 365°. Light butter cookie sheets.|
1-¼ cups butter
½ cup white sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Using an electric mixer, cream the butter.|
Add the sugars in small portions, beating until fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla, beating until blended.
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1-½ cups oatmeal
In a separate bowl, stir together the dry ingredients.|
Gradually add them to the creamed mixture, beating only until blended.
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Stir in the chocolate chips by hand until they are evenly distributed.|
Drop by teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
Cool on racks.
