Title: Parish Registers for Baptisms, Marriages and Burials for Whichford, Warwickshire
NOTESource Medium: Church Record
Starting nominally in 1538, these Parish Registers were kept pursuant to an edict of Thomas Cromwell. The earliest extant ones for Whichford, the Parish in which Stourton is located, allegedly start in 1540 but in fact start around 1603. There are many missing periods, especially (and crucially for me) in the mid 1600's and the late 1700's.
